FAQ

What to expect when ordering paper bouquets.

How and when do I pay?

You will be quoted for your whole package including postage once we’ve decided on the finer points of your designs. To secure your booking you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total order, this guarantees your booking. It is non-refundable to cover the costs of materials and running costs. I will get in touch once I have received the deposit, you can make payment through PayPal, BACS or I even have a card reader if we decide it all in person.

When your order is complete I will send you detailed photos for you to view. After you confirm you are happy with your items I will send out a final invoice for the balance, it is due within 5 working days. Once I have received the payment I will send out your bouquets. If no payment is received within 21 days of the final invoice Button Up Birdy reserves the right to resell the items.

When and how  will I get my bouquet?

Unless we have agreed differently, you will receive your bouquets 2-3 weeks before the big day. I will be keeping in touch on a regularly so you will know the progress of your items. I use Royal Mail for postage and all orders sent will require a signature. I will post within 2 working days of payment. If you are ordering from outside the UK, I will ensure an appropriate delivery service is chosen.

What if I want to change some details?

It happens right? Especially with weddings, things have to be perfect. In our first consultations we will have worked out what was perfect for you.  If some things change then I will of course work my hardest to ensure they are incorporated. If these changes are made before I begin creation then there will be no problem. If they are made after, they will be considered but not guaranteed. I ask that you write these changes in emails so I can track them.

What if I need to cancel/change the date?

If something happens and you have to rearrange your wedding, the last thing you want to be worrying about is your flowers. You will need to confirm the change in writing. If you don’t know when it will be, I will keep your bouquets for 1 year  from your initial wedding date. If you have to cancel the order, please do so as soon as possible in writing and remember the initial deposit is non-refundable. If in the extreme circumstance I am unable to complete your order, I will let you know as soon as possible and all payments will be refunded.

What if want a refund?

Careful consideration must be taken when the completed photos are sent to you because custom bouquets, because of their nature, are not refundable.

Where should I keep my bouquets after the wedding?

Isn’t this the best part – you get to keep them forever. I suggest keeping them in a vase/container out of direct sunlight and moisture.
